We have located three of the original guns that once were manned by the Charlotte Artillery. Two of the 12 pd Howitzers cast from Charlotte church bells are now in the hands of the National Park Service.

The third gun is located at a northeastern college. This gun was a US 6pd brass casting gun "confiscated" by the Confederacy at the outbreak of hostilities but later recaptured by the Federals at the Battle of New Bern.
